Netflix has released the official trailer for SCTV: The Greatest Show You've Never Heard Of (2026), a feature documentary arriving October 30. It marks the first time the legendary Canadian sketch troupe has been the subject of a full-scale Netflix Original documentary — a long-overdue reckoning with one of comedy's most influential ensembles.
Official trailerDirected by Jason Hehir (The Last Dance), the film chronicles the rise, fall, and enduring legacy of Second City Television through intimate interviews with surviving cast members — among them Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Andrea Martin, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas, Joe Flaherty, and Martin Short — alongside rare archival footage and an emotional cast reunion in Toronto. Jimmy Kimmel and Hehir serve as executive producers. The trailer, published October 27, 2026, on the Netflix YouTube channel, previews both the comedy and the candor; the full documentary lands on Netflix on October 30, 2026.
